We have a ton of blooming mustard around the ponds, creeks, and rivers here in the Nashville spring time. This is a 9”x12” oil rendering of the small front pond at Ravenwood park in the early morning light. We haven’t had much rain in the early spring but there were some interesting little dashes of mud and reflection amongst the rock pile which is usually surrounded by water and has turtles hanging about. Today I was focused on the awesome yellow mustard dashing across the shoreline. What fun.
