In this winter pond study of one of the back ponds at Ravenwood I was aiming to show the intensity of sunlight on a still very dormant landscape. The shore had this lovely burgundy and violet color to it as the mustard were just starting to sprout. This was a fun challenge and would make a fine addition as another unique subject for those looking to add to their collection.
